The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation for School and College Readiness
Phi Sigma Sigma has chosen the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation as its international philanthropy. The Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation was set up to aid to the lives of our members. It is the official charitable arm of Phi Sigma Sigma Fraternity. The Foundations mission is to generate funds for the education and philanthropic activities of the Fraternity, encourage lifelong learning and engage in charitable endeavors. The Foundations Philanthropic cause is school and college readiness.
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
The Iota Mu Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma has chosen the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as its local philanthropy starting Spring 2018. AFSP is a voluntary health organization that funds research, runs educational programs, advocates for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, and supports survivors of suicide loss. AFSP also funds programs to reduce the stigma and help the public better understand suicide.
Circle of Sisterhood
The Iota Mu Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma has chosen Circle of Sisterhood as its local philanthropy starting Spring 2018. Circle of Sisterhood's mission is to leverage the collective influence of sorority women to raise financial resources for entities around the world that are removing educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression. Circle of Sisterhood has been able to grant over $1,000,000 to organizations working in 24 different countries and has funded 23 school builds in Malawi, Senegal, Haiti, Nepal and Nicaragua since its founding in 2010.
