Phi Sig Inferno
BrΦng The HΣat or Get BurnΣd
"I wanted to bring it to UNH because we were looking for something to give us a name on campus, an event that people would remember each year and say "oh that's a Phi sig event." It seemed like an event that we could do a lot with and there were a lot of opportunities for us to try new kinds of activities that we hadn't done on campus before"

"Inferno is an annual competition we have on campus to raise money for our philanthropy, the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation for School and College Readiness. We encourage our peers in other organizations to get involved in this amazing event. We encourage our peers to make a team of 5-10 after paying a small individual fee. The money acquired from the participants is then donated to our philanthropy. The teams then compete in a series of obstacle courses and relays in efforts to win the title of Inferno Champions. The event is a lot of fun while raising money for a spectacular cause. The success of our philanthropy fundraising means a lot to me as the foundation chair of the Iota Mu chapter. I will make the most of educational opportunities throughout my life and am happy that others are given this same opportunity as a result of the foundation."
